Dallas Beer Week

Dallas Beer Week is an ad hoc assortment of beer related events around town.

Here are the details on our events.

OLD MONK & IDLE RICH – WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 16 6-10pm

Pour your own Guinness or Cask Conditioned ale. Both of these styles require skill & practice to pour correctly. Guinness with its unique two part pour and Cask Conditioned ales which require hand pumping since they are not pushed by CO2. We will set up stations at each pub and have trained pourers on hand to give
you direction.

Pour your own Guinness, keep the logo glass.

Cask conditioned for this event will be from the Lagunitas Brewery in Petaluma, CA.
Buy a pint, pour your beer, keep the glass.

THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 17 6-10pm

Pint night, Franconia Wheat at the Idle Rich Pub.
$3 Pints of Franconia, keep the 16oz. Pilsner glass.

BLACKFRIAR PUB – WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 16 6-10pm

Learn and practice how to pour a 23oz. bottle of German wheat into a tall pilsner glass by turning the bottle upside down. Hefe beers are extremely popular in the beer garden at Blackfriar, expert staff will be on hand. Keep the glass.

Local faves, The O’s, perform at 9pm.
$3 Pints of Franconia Hefe all night
