An Irish pub and restaurant is slated to open in downtown Springfield at the end of the month.
Dublin’s Pass Irish Pub & Restaurant will hold the grand opening festivities for a new location at 317 Park Central East the weekend of Sept. 28 and 29. The restaurant already has one location on W. Republic Road in Springfield.
A menu on the restaurant’s website lists burgers, sandwiches and traditional entrees such as fish and chips, bangers and mash and corned beef, as well as more than 16 drinks involving Guinness.
The opening weekend celebration will include five chances to win a “Pint and Patty” for a year, as well as live music and door prizes starting at 8 p.m. on Sept. 29.
