Cock’n’Bull wins Irish Echo pub poll

The Cock’n’Bull has been voted Best Irish Pub in Australia for the second year running by Facebook friends of the Irish Echo.

Only votes from Facebook users in Australia were counted and when the tallying was done, the Cock’n’Bull had a comfortable victory margin.

The popular pub in Bondi Junction topped the poll with 285 votes from last year’s winner Scruffy Murphy’s with 157. Other pubs to poll well included Irish Murphy’s in Brisbane, Durty Nelly’s in Paddington and PJ O’Brien’s in Southbank.

The winning pub will receive a free commemorative framed cover of the Irish Echo and a free button ad on our electronic newsletter.

Cock’n’Bull voter Eimear Bagnall will receive a $100 bar tab to spend at the pub as well as a free one-year subscription to the print edition of the Irish Echo and an Irish Echo T-shirt.
