New Irish pub opens just in time for St. Patrick’s Day

Have plans for St. Patrick’s Day? C.S. Finnegan’s Irish House, a new pub in Belltown, is having its grand opening just in time to spread some Irish cheer.

West Seattle’s Celtic Swell Irish Pub owner Gareth Hughes is expanding his business to open up the Belltown pub, at 2604 1st Avenue (at Vine Street.)

“Growing up in Ireland, the tradition of having a “local” pub to spend time in, have a beer, enjoy a meal and hang out with friends is a long-time tradition,” Hughes says. “It was my dream to create this atmosphere in West Seattle, where I live.  After years of getting the question ‘When are you opening your next one?’ we are thrilled to be bringing a truly authentic Irish pub to the Belltown neighborhood.”

The St. Patrick’s Day festivities include heated tents with outdoor bars and music stages, beginning at 11 a.m.
