Laugh it Up at McGettigan’s Irish Comedyfest

Joe Rooney joins the top Irish comic talent at McGettigan’s Irish Comedyfest

There’s no better way to start the year than with lots of laughter, and that’s just what McGettigan’s Irish Pub has planned to kick off 2012. It’s time for the second annual McGettigan’s Irish Comedyfest on 5 and 6 January, and you can be sure that it’s going to be a riot.

Last year, Jason Byrne and guests entertained the hundreds who gathered at the famous Irish venue in the heart of Jumeirah Lakes Towers. This year five more Irish comedy heroes are flying over for a week of fun.

The McGettigan’s Comedyfest this year will feature Irish comedians Eric Lalor, Andrew Stanley, Fred Cooke, Jarlath Regan and Joe Rooney, who starred in Channel 4’s Father Ted playing the role of Father Damo.

The Comedyfest will run over two nights, and all five comedians will feature at both events. Go get your tickets already – you know it’s going to be fantastic!
