Power’s Irish Pub, located on the corner of Route 9 and Farm to Market Road, has opened.
The centuries old building is now open as an Irish pub offering traditional Irish fare as well as some American pub classics.
Power’s Irish Pub is owned by the owners of Giffy’s Bar-B-Q, who wanted to expand their restaurant business in Clifton Park.
Says Bryah Gifford, owner of Power’s, “Our family is happy to be sharing our Irish heritage with the community. We look forward to serving outstanding food and providing Clifton Park with great entertainment.”
Power’s Irish Pub’s chef Janet Sterling is serving such Irish delights as Shepherd’s Pie, Harp-battered fish fry, and Bangers and mash. The Pub is offering 18 different draft beers as well as many other bottled beers and spirits.
It will have live entertainment twice a week.
Power’s Irish Pub is open Tuesday through Sunday 11 a.m. to midnight.
