Power’s Irish Pub opens in Clifton Park

Power’s Irish Pub opened Saturday (10/29) at 130 Meyer Road in Clifton Park, former home of The Old Dater Tavern and, most recently, the Old Dublin Inn. The owners are the Gifford family, who also have Giffy’s Bar-B-Q in the town.

The menu features curry fries, fried pickles, Irish nachos, fish and chips, salmon-cake sandwich, shepherd’s pie and bangers and mash, with entrées running $8 to $13. I’m told there are 18 draft beers, but the list doesn’t yet seem to be online.

Hours are 11 a.m. to midnight Tuesday through Sunday.
