The Dave Magrogan Group is opening their 7th Kildare’s Irish Pub in Columbus, Ohio.
Frank Daly, Director of Marketing, commented that they ‘have months to learn the market’ before they reopen as a Kildare’s Irish Pub. In the mean time they are taking advantage of the College Football Season with weekly Karaoke, Pub Pong and Pub Quizzes.
The growing location takes advantage of the 60,000 students in Ohio State University and the nearby city of Dublin, Ohio, host to one of the largest Irish Festivals in the U.S.
The Pub & Restaurant is connecting to students through community organizations, by hosting networking events and sponsorship of sororities, fraternities and athletic organizations. Its menu is a blend of traditional Irish entrees: Guinness Stew, Bangers and Mash and Guinness Poached Salmon alongside American classics; burgers and wings.
The pub will close this winter for six weeks of renovations and reopen as Kildare’s in mid January. As is true with all Kildare’s Pub, the pub will be built in Ireland and assembled in the U.S. to incorporate five different brew styles: Victorian, Brew, Shop Style, Cottage Style Pub and a custom style ‘Gaelic’ that incorporates a traditional Irish style with light woods and Celtic knots.
