Pub celebrates halfway to St. Patrick’s Day

Can’t wait another six months for St. Patrick’s Day? Get your practice in early at The Shannon Rose in Clifton as this authentic Irish Pub celebrates “Halfway Way to St. Patrick’s Day” on Friday, Sept. 16 and Saturday, Sept. 17.

Bagpipers will entertain at the Shannon Rose on Sept. 16 and 17.

Festivities go from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. each day. On Friday, don’t miss an all-Irish fare for $9.99 as well as bagpipers, Irish step dancers, prizes and giveaways.

At 3 p.m. Kindred Spirit will perform and DJ Mike West will spin the turntables until the wee hours of the night starting at 10 p.m. On Saturday, there will be Irish music at 1 p.m. and the band Crush Love will hit the stage at 10 p.m. Drink specials on Friday and Saturday include $4 Guinness and Guinness Mixes and $3 Jameson Shots.
