Located between a NAPA Auto Parts store and a Goodyear Tire Center on North Avenue, O’Sullivan’s Public House has been serving tasty meals and quenching beverages since 2008.
They offer a family-friendly dining experience with a roomy dining area and separate bar area. The bar has nine plasma televisions connected to four satellite receivers for guests who like to relax and watch sporting events or other entertainment. The restaurant and sports pub are open daily for lunch and dinner, and offer a full-scale menu of food entrees.
The restaurant offers a twice a week fish fry, on Wednesdays and Fridays. Among the seafood offerings are beer battered or baked cod, fish sandwich, pan fried bluegill, breaded perch, shrimp scampi, coconut shrimp and mahi mahi with wild rice and vegetables served with a sweet chili sauce. Prices range from $8 to $12.
Other menu items include bacon-wrapped water chestnuts, chicken strips and deep fried Wisconsin cheese curds for appetizers; Irish stew with lamb meat, chili and soup du jour for soups; and a variety of hamburgers, cold and hot sandwiches, salads, and specialty desserts. Other unique menu features are corned beef and cabbage, shepherds pie, baby back ribs and meatloaf.
The sports pub offers a Happy Hour from 3 to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday with complimentary snacks. O’Sullivan’s also provides carry-out service, and orders can be placed by calling the restaurant.
